November 6, 2019, HIGHTSTOWN, NJ– A two alarm fire damaged a home in the 400 block of South Main Street around 10 a.m. this morning. Initial reports of a struck gas line with a fire in the basement came across the radio and the fire spread to the 2nd floor due to older “balloon” constructed home. Firefighters and investigators were still on scene at the time of this report and an official cause of the fire has not been released. Check back further information to follow when it becomes available.
