TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Bullets continue to fly and the body count stacks up today in the City, even after the Mayor released a statement this afternoon condemning the violence.
About 6:40 pm. police and EMS were detailed to Grand Avenue for a shooting. The person was transported to The Trauma Center at Regional Medical Center for treatment. No further details were available at this time.
Those killed the past few days in city gun violence are:
9 am this morning a shooting on Daymond Street Antwuan Bowens, 44, of Trenton was killed.
12:30 am 18-year-old Tayvion Jones was killed in an Oakland Avenue shooting.
A Daymond Street shooting Saturday just before midnight killed 38 year old Robert Smith when he was shot in the head and later died. Two others were also shot at that scene.
It appears that Trenton is under siege again from gun violence as these senseless shooting sprees continue.
