Accident Closes Nottingham Way

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (MERCER)–Sometime around 6:30 am a vehicle traveling on Nottingham Way lost control and crashed into a utility pole leaving the top half of the pole dangling by wires. The Hamilton Township Police Department, Hamilton Township Fire Department and RWJ EMS responded to the scene. There were no reported injuries. PSE&G was detailed for the repairs and was on scene within a half hour working on securing the lines. It was unknown at the time of this report how long the roadway would be closed for the repairs.

At the time of this report Nottingham Way was closed in the 3700 Block between Aberfoyle Drive and Mercer Street.

The roadway is expected to be closed until about 1:30 pm

The roadway has reopened late this afternoon.
