Water Rescue After Jet Ski Collides With Boat In Delaware River

TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Around 9:15 pm., a call came from Bucks County requesting Trenton Police, Trenton Fire Department, TEMS and paramedics to the boat ramp for a jet ski in distress after a collision on the river with a boat.

Firefighters from both Trenton and Bucks County Pennsylvania brought the injured jet skiier into the Trenton Boat Ramp where the victim was treated by EMS and transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center.

No further information was available about the incident.

BREAKING: Trenton: Woman Stabbed In Neck “Trauma Alert” Called

TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Just after 10 pm., Trenton Police, Trenton EMS and Capital Health paramedics responded to the 400 Bock of Ferry Street for a stabbing. Once the scene was clear EMS proceeded in to treat a female at that location with a stab wound. TEMS and Capital Health Paramedics transported the victim to the Trauma Center at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, a “trauma alert” was called. No further information is available at this time.

TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Governor Phil Murphy today released the following statement on longtime New Jersey Department of Children and Families employee Vernetta McCray, who was shot last night in front of her Trenton home in a random act of gun violence and is currently in critical condition:

“Vernetta McCray has worked for the Department of Children and Families for over a decade, gaining the respect of her colleagues and serving countless children and families in Mercer County. This tragedy is yet another reminder of the toll that senseless gun violence takes on our communities. Our prayers are with Vernetta, her family, and her loved ones at this difficult time.”

Trenton Police arrived to make sure the scene was safe for EMS. Once clear TEMS and Paramedics proceeded in to treat the victim. The victim was transported to the Trauma Center at Capital Health Regional Medical Center. No word on condition other than a “trauma alert” was called over the radio.

TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Trenton police responded to the area of the 300 block of Walnut Street last night around 8:50 pm after receiving a Shot Spotter activation for more than 20 rounds fired.  While searching for a scene, they discovered an adult female on the porch of a Hampton Avenue residence bleeding from her head. She was transported to the hospital where she is in critical condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
