Fatal Shooting On Spring Street Last Night

BREAKING: Police Investigate Shooting On Daymond Street

TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–The Mercer County Prosecutors Office has identified the victim of last night’s shooting in the 200 Block of Spring Street as Hussain Abdullah, 35, of Trenton.

Police responding to a Shot Spotter activation around 11:00 pm, found Abdullah in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the Trauma Center at Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

It has been 34 days since the last homicide in the city, the last was August 29, 2020 read story here.

There was another earlier shooting in the City last night at the end of Daymond Street. No information is available about that shooting.
