Serious Accident In East Windsor Closes Route 130 For Accident Investigation

UPDATE roadway was reopened at 6:47 pm.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ (MERCER)–A serious accident in the 800 Block of Route 130 near Goodyear Tire Center and PakMail shipping center occurred just before 4:00 pm. The accident happened near an opening in the median strip and appeared to involve 2 vehicles and a parked vehicle. East Windsor Fire Company, Hightstown Fire Company, East Windsor First Aid Squad, Mercer County Paramedics and East Windsor Police responded to the scene. There was an extrication involved from one of the vehicles and the first aid squad transported to the Trauma Center at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton and a “Trauma Alert” was called. All based on preliminary information. An email was sent to East Windsor Police for official information and once received the story will be updated and any corrections and additions made.

Currently Route 130 is closed in both directions for an accident investigation by East Windsor Police Department. Detours start at Hankins Road and also Route 130 and Route 33 intersection. Avoid the area. No official information is expected until the accident investigation is completed.
