UPDATE: Arrest Made In Criminal Attempt Homicide In Hamilton

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (MERCER)– On Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11:15 p.m., Officer D. Broniszewski was in the area of Greenwood Avenue and Atlantic Avenue when he heard gunshots coming from the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Norman Court. Upon his arrival in the area he observed a male and female running in his direction. The male was the victim and had been shot in the buttocks. Additional units arrived on scene and during the course of the investigation identified Donald Robinson, 27, of Ewing as the shooter.

On December 12, 2020 along with the United State Marshals Office, New Jersey State Police Crime Suppression Unit, and Hamilton Police Anti-Crime Unit, officers located Donald Robinson at a residence in Ewing and placed him under arrest.  He was charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Possession of Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, Unlawful Possession of Weapon, and Certain Persons Not to Possess Weapons.
