Update: 49 Year Old Hamilton Man Identified In Fatal Pedestrian Accident
UPDATE: Captain Peter Weremijenko of the Trenton Police Department confirms that a male was struck and killed by a car at 6:20 p.m. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No other information is available at this time.

TRENTON (MERCER)– Trenton Fire & EMS were dispatched to Route 129 and Lalor Street around 6:20 pm tonight on multiple calls reporting a person was struck by a car and pinned under the vehicle.
Trenton Fire Department extricated the patient from under the vehicle, where it appears the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Bystanders believe that the victim is one of the panhandlers that commonly hang around that intersection.
