Update: 32 Year Old Shot In Last Night’s Gunfire, Treated For Non-life Threatening Injuries At Capital Health Trauma Center

TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Trenton Police Department spokesperson, Detective Captain Peter Weremijenko told MidJersey.News that, “On Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at approximately 8:57 pm Trenton Police officers responded to the area of 239 E. Hanover St. after receiving reports of shots being fired.  Officers arrived on scene and located multiple shell casings in the area.  While officers were on scene, they were notified of a gunshot victim arriving at Capital Health Reginal Medical Center by a private vehicle.   The victim was identified as Quymaire Kelly, a 32-year-old man who resides in the City of Trenton.  Mr. Kelly was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.   The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by Det. Nicholas Hogan and the Mercer County Shooting Response Team.”
