TRENTON (MERCER)– Two Trenton residents are facing charges after Trenton officers witnessed them assaulting a man during a robbery.
It happened around 4:20 pm on Friday, March 12.Trenton Police Officers Pedro Perez and Albert DiNatale III were on patrol in the area of New York Avenue and North Olden Avenue when they observed two men assaulting another male. Once officers intervened, they learned the male being assaulted was robbed by the two men.
The officers arrested Malik Bond, 24-year-old resident of Laurel Place in Trenton, and Semaj Logan, 23-year-old resident of Frazier Street in Trenton. Both are charged with robbery and simple assault. The victim’s cell phone was recovered during the arrest.
