TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Trenton Police Director Sheilah A. Coley today announced that TPD officers are responding to a shooting that injured three individuals, including a child, late Friday evening.
At approximately 9:07 p.m. on April 30, 2021, a male dressed in all black allegedly fired several rounds into a car in front of 207 Perry St. in Trenton.
The car was occupied by four individuals, including two children. A four-year-old girl was grazed on the head. A 30-year-old woman was struck in the upper shoulder. The driver, a 34-year-old man, was struck several times in the arm and torso. All three victims are in stable condition. An eight-year-old boy, also in the car, was not injured.
The shooting is being investigated by the TPD Shooting Response Team, under the direction of Detective Michael Cipriano. Anyone with information is asked to call the TPD anonymous tip line at 609-989-DRUG (3784).
