UPDATE: Ewing Man Arrested For Hamilton Township 7-11 Murder

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP (MERCER)– The Mercer County Homicide Task Force is investigating an overnight shooting death in Hamilton Township, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported.

On Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at approximately 1:50 a.m., Hamilton police responded to a shooting at the 7-11 on Lalor Street. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim, identified as 23-year-old Katherine Montenegro of Trenton, on the ground in the parking lot suffering a gunshot wound to the abdomen. She was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

Neighbors state they heard people arguing before the shots rang out.
