EAST WINDSOR, NJ (MERCER)–East Windsor Police, East Windsor Fire Company and Hightstown Fire Company were on scene at a reported deck fire on Dutch Neck Road this morning around 10:19 a.m.

East Windsor Police arrived and helped to snuff the fire, and kept it from spreading. East Windsor and Hightstown firefighters soaked the area down and checked for extension.

It was reported that some lighting caught fire and was quickly extinguished keeping the fire from spreading to the rest of the deck and home. Only minor damage reported, the East Windsor Fire Marshal was called to the scene for the investigation. No other information was available.
