TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Trenton Police Detective Lieutenant Peter Szpakowski told MidJersey.News that on Monday, June 21, 2021 at approximately 3:57 p.m. Trenton Police Communications received calls for a shots fired in the area of Oakland Street and Hoffman Avenue. Patrol and Street Crimes arrived and located one male, Victim #1 a 62 year old City resident, with a gunshot wound to his finger. Victim #1 was transported by EMS to Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Shortly after, Victim #2 a 20 year old City resident, arrived at Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the right calf.
Shooting Response Team is continuing this investigation.
