HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (MERCER)–On October 8, 2021, at approximately 7:56 p.m., a 2021 Nissan Sentra, driven by a 39-year-old female from Hamilton, was traveling eastbound on Nottingham Way near Klockner Rd when it collided with a bicyclist that was traveling westbound on the eastbound side of the road. The bicyclist, a 57-year-old male from Hamilton, suffered serious injuries from the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash is being investigated by Officers C. Clugsten, J. Anaya, and B. DiBiasi of the Hamilton Police Traffic Unit with the assistance of the Mercer County Prosecutors Serious Crash Response Team. Any witnesses are asked to contact the Hamilton Police Traffic Unit at (609) 581-4000.
The names of all parties involved have been withheld pending notification to family members.

It was almost a year ago on October 31, 202, a block away, where another pedestrian was struck on the same stretch of highway in a serious crash:
I say pull the phone of this female driver… I would want to make certain her phone was not in use. I personally am tired of watching people swiveling across lines. AND/OR having to beep when we are sitting at a GREEN LIGHT, you see them LOOKUP and Go.
