TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Around 5:35 p.m. a vehicle crash with a reported shooting victim inside was reported on Jersey Street between Lalor Street and Deklyn Avenue. Trenton Police, Trenton Fire Department, Trenton EMS and Capital Health Paramedics responded to the scene. Upon arrival of emergency services they staged about a block away until Trenton Police could clear the scene. It was determined that the driver escaped and ran from the scene.
Trenton Police did not have public information available yet but there were shell casing lining Jersey Street, a few parked cars heavily damaged, and a vehicle upside down with what appeared to be bullet holes in the driver’s door and rear passenger’s door. This is a preliminary report from the scene and official information will be released when it becomes available.
