TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Around 1:05 p.m. Trenton Police and Trenton Fire Departments were dispatched to the Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park Trail opposite 363 West State Street, between Calhoun Street and Rutgers Place. Upon arrival of firefighters a body was found in the D&R Canal and was removed by police and firefighters. Trenton Fire Department requested Capital Health Paramedics for a pronouncement. The New Jersey State Park Police is assisting Trenton Police Department in the investigation.
