April 17, 2022 UPDATE:

The City of Trenton reports that a suspect has been arrested in yesterday’s shooting at Spring and Prospect Streets. The Trenton Police Department Shooting Response Team recovered a gun. A victim suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to an extremity. More information to follow as it becomes available.

April 16, 2022

TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Sometime around 6:30 p.m. Trenton Police, Trenton EMS, Capital Health Paramedics and Trenton Fire Department responded to Spring and Prospect Street for a male reported shot in the leg. The victim was found at Prospect Street and Jarvis Place and was quickly transported to Captial Health Regional Medical Center Trauma Unit by TEMS and Paramedics and a “trauma alert” was called en route to the hospital. Trenton Police is investigating the shooting. No further details are available at this time.
