JACKSON, NJ (OCEAN)–Just before 1:00 p.m. a truck overturned on I-195 west bound blocking all lanes of travel in the area of mile post 20 in Jackson Township, between Exit 16 – CR 537 and Exit 21. New Jersey State Police, Jackson Township Fire Departments, and Jackson First Aid were sent to the scene for reported entrapment but firefighters arrived at 1:01 p.m. and reported no entrapment.
As of 2:22 p.m. the roadway was being detoured at Exit 21 and there was a two mile delay on I-195. Traffic on CR 526 in the area of Cassville was backed up 1.4 miles according to Google Maps. Avoid the area if possible.
