October 21, 2022

Fall foliage conditions in most of New Jersey are close to peak or at peak conditions. If looking for a good leaf peeping opportunity, Friday and Saturday would be the best days this weekend to get out doors and view the fall colors. A chance of rain is predicted for Sunday making Friday and Saturday the best days for viewing.

If traveling, High Point State Park and Stokes State Forest areas are past peak conditions. Even some areas in northern Warren County have peaked and are starting to go past peak.

This weekend check out Vernon, New Jersey, Mountain Creek offers a “Sky Ride” for $10. The Sky Ride ticket is required to ride The Cabriolet to the top of Vernon Peak. To purchase a Sky Ride ticket, visit the Mountain Creek website since the ticket is only available online: Sky Ride Tickets
