There will be two run-off elections for the City of Trenton. Today a judge ordered that December 13th the North and South ward races will take place -so vote by mail continues and drop boxes are open for that race. Then, on January 24th, there will be a separate election for the at-large candidates in #trenton. #election

TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–In a New Jersey Superior Court Order directing the City of Trenton to a runoff election for Council Person at Large was released today in a 20-page document (see file below).
Superior Court Judge, Honorable Robert Lougy, A.J.S.C., ordered that a runoff election must be held for the position of Trenton City Councilmember-at large in the upcoming municipal election. Respondents shall conduct a runoff election for the position of Trenton City Councilmember-at large on the same date as the election for the North Ward and South Ward council seats, which shall be held on JANUARY 24, 2023.
The Court has scheduled a conference in this matter for this afternoon December 2, 2022, at 3:30 p.m.
