TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–The Trenton Police Department and the Mercer County Homicide Task Force are investigating an afternoon shooting in the 600 Block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard this afternoon that happened around 3:00 p.m.
Trenton Police Department Public Information Officer Detective Lieutenant Nathan Bolognini told MidJersey.news that three people were shot and two were in extremely critical condition. No other information was available at the time of this report.
A witness stated that there was a heavy police presence at the Trauma Center at Capital Health Regional Medical Center and there was crime scene tape outside the emergency room area. It was unclear but there were reports of about 30 shots fired and a possible drive-by type shooting. One of the three victims arrived by personal car to the Trauma Center.
