BREAKING: 5 Injured On NJ Turnpike 3 Trauma Alerts, 2 BLS Type Injuries

July 19, 2020

ROBBINSVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (MERCER)–The Robbinsville Township Fire Department was dispatched to the New Jersey Turnpike mile marker 62.9 north bound outer lanes for a serious accident at 7:20 pm. Mutual aid was called from Hightstown Fire Company and additional ambulances called from East Windsor, Allentown First Aid Squad, Hamilton RWJ EMS, Capital Health and Mercer County Paramedics all responded to the scene.

Initial reports are that a total of 5 were injured with 3 of those being serious trauma alerts, and 2 basic life support injures.

Further details to follow when available. NJ Turnpike State Police are investigating and outer lanes are closed due to a serious crash investigation in progress at the time of this report.
