Tractor Trailer Driver Escapes Injury On NJ Turnpike In Robbinsville

ROBBINSVILLE, NJ (MERCER)–At 11:45 p.m. August 1, 2022 the Robbinsville Fire Department and Bordentown Township Fire Department were dispatched to mile post 59 north bound just prior to Exit 7A for an overturned tractor trailer with reported entrapment. When firefighters arrived, it was determined that the driver was able to crawl out on their own power and refused medical treatment and transport to the local hospital. Firefighters remained on scene due to a fuel leak from the saddle tanks of the tractor trailer. New Jersey State Police is investigating. No further details are available at this time. Firefighters were still on scene at the time of this report.
