Shooting Response Team Investigating Trenton Shooting

TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Detective Lieutenant, Nathan Bolognini told MidJersey.news that the Trenton Police Shooting Response Team near Hudson and Bayard Streets last night that occurred around 10:10 p.m. A male victim was approached by a male suspect on foot who shot him in both legs. The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and the victim is listed in stable condition at this time. No additional details are available at this time.


Earlier in the evening police responded to a fatal shooting at Oakland and Hoffman streets at approximately 8:42 p.m. Officers observed the victim’s vehicle drive away from the area of the shooting, lose control and strike several parked cars in the area of 524 Hoffman Avenue. As officers began to render aid to the victim, they observed that he was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as Sherief Treadwell, 36, of Trenton, NJ, was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
