HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (MERCER)–Three cars were involved in a crash at the intersection of Chambers Street and Samuel Street just before 8:30 pm, Saturday night. The Hamilton Township Fire Department, Hamilton Township Police Department, RWJ EMS, and Capital Health Paramedics responded to the scene. Due to fluids on the ground from the accident Hamilton HAZ-MAT-10 also responded to the scene for clean up.
Robert Wood Johnson EMS transported two patients to the hospital in stable condition. The crash is under investigation.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (MERCER)–Hightstown defeated Steinert this afternoon with a final score of 24-20. According to the Hightstown RAMS this is the first time since 2009 that Hightstown has beat Steinert in a game.

Fatal Shooting On Spring Street Last Night

TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–The Mercer County Prosecutors Office has identified the victim of last night’s shooting in the 200 Block of Spring Street as Hussain Abdullah, 35, of Trenton.
Police responding to a Shot Spotter activation around 11:00 pm, found Abdullah in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the Trauma Center at Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
There was another earlier shooting in the City last night at the end of Daymond Street. No information is available about that shooting.

ROBBINSVILLE, NJ (MERCER)–A accident shut down Route 130 south bound between Meadowbrook and Woodside at 2:27 pm today. It appears that two vehicles collided in the median near the turn lane for the A&M Farm Market in the 1200 Block of Route 130. The Robbinsville Township Fire Department and the Robbinsville Township Police Department responded to the scene.
Occupants from one of the vehicles was transported to a local hospital by Robbinsville Township Fire Department EMS. The Robbinsville Township Police reopened the roadway around 3:00 pm. The crash is under investigation by the Robbinsville Township Police Department.

TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–After a quiet 34 days without a homicide in Trenton, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office confirms that a fatal shooting occurred in the 200 Block of Spring Street last night. Police responded to the scene around 11:00 pm when they received a Shot Spotter activation. The victim, a 35 year old male, was located in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the Trauma Center at Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force is investigating.

This makes the 29th homicide in the City of Trenton in 2020, the last known was August 29, 2020
The name of the 35 year old male will be released pending family notification.
