TRENTON, NJ (MERCER)–Garden State Funeral Directors Association held a Black Lives Matter Hearse Rally yesterday from Newark, NJ to Trenton’s City Hall.
The protest and procession started at Newark’s City Hall around noon and arrived in Trenton around 2 pm. The protest lasted until about 5:00 pm.
About 5 hours after the protest ended gunshots rang out in the city again where two people were shot and one person remains in critical condition and no word on the other at this hour. Prayers for their family as we hope another is not lost to this senseless gun violence in the city. This violence needs to stop.
